Andrea Grifka was named Director of Development in March 2026.

Andrea grew up in Ubly, Michigan, before attending Saginaw Valley State University, where she studied marketing, professional sales, and graphic design. As a college student, she was involved in campus ministry through SVSU’s St. John Paul II Catholic Ministries, where she also took on leadership roles. Andrea also has previous professional experience in social media, communications, and marketing.

“I look forward to building relationships with the St. Mary University Parish community. I am especially excited to help grow support for the Catholic Church on a college campus!” Grifka said.

At St. Mary University Parish, Andrea is responsible for enhancing giving opportunities for the parish and managing the parish’s social media presence.
